Subject: Call for Proposals: Miss Botswana 2025 District Franchise Opportunities
The Miss Botswana Organization is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals and organizations to become official franchise holders for the Miss Botswana pageant at the district level for the 2026 competition. We are expanding to include 30 district-level competitions across Botswana, providing a significant platform to showcase the diverse talent within our nation.
Opportunity:
We invite proposals from individuals and organizations interested in running the Miss Botswana competition in their respective districts. Thirty (30) districts will be selected to host a local chapter, with the district winner automatically advancing to the top 40 of the national Miss Botswana competition.
Responsibilities of District Franchise Holders:
Successful applicants will be responsible for organizing and managing all aspects of the Miss Botswana district competition, including:
1. Contestant Recruitment and Selection
2. Event planning and management (venue booking, marketing, etc.)
3. Adherence to Miss Botswana/Miss World Botswana criteria and standards
4. Submission of district winner information to the Miss Botswana organization
5. Collaborate on community development projects with Botswana Council Of Women
6. Franchise Holders have to be members of ABICOB.
7. All Franchise Holders will be required to attend a mandatory Pageantry short course scheduled for May 2025, Exact date to be confirmed..
Support from Miss Botswana/Miss World Botswana:
Selected franchise holders will receive the following support:
1. Technical Support: Guidance and resources to ensure the district competition aligns with Miss Botswana/Miss World Botswana standards.
2. Winner Support Grant: A grant to assist the district winner in attending the national Top 40 Boot Camp.
Proposal Submission:
Interested parties are requested to submit a detailed proposal outlining their experience, proposed plan for the district competition, and budget. The proposal should demonstrate your understanding of the Miss Botswana pageant, Botswana Council Of Women, your ability to manage a large-scale event, and your commitment to supporting the selected contestant and Botswana Council Of Women projects.
Proposal Deadline: 31st March 2025
Submission Instructions: Proposals should be submitted electronically to franchise@missbotswana.co.bw
Selection Process: A selection committee will review all proposals, and successful applicants will be notified by the 30th April 2025.
