Halle Chandapiwa Hirschfeld, is the Miss Botswana 2024 1st Princess proudly representing Molepolole, Mokgalong ward. Born and raised in Gaborone, she is an only child raised by her supportive grandparents, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience and gratitude.
An inquisitive and soft-spoken individual, Halle expresses her passion for storytelling through music, poetry, dance and movies. Her academic journey began at Sebotho Modisi Centre and continued at Ben-Thema Primary Secondary School, where she was crowned Miss Ben-Thema at the age of 8 years old. At Nanogang Junior School, she was elected Minister of Sports and later served as Vice President at Naledi Senior School.
Halle graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Botswana in October 2023. She is actively involved in various organizations, including Men and Boys for Gender Equality and The African Women Leadership Academy , and serves on the Children and Youth Advisory Panel with UNICEF Botswana.
As the founder of the Retracing Heritage project, Halle aims to promote cultural resuscitation as a solution to social issues. She is dedicated to empowering youth and fostering community development, looking forward to making a positive impact through her role as Miss Botswana 2024 1st Princess.
