The Miss World Botswana Organization is pleased to announce the formation of the Advisory Committee on Oversight (ACO). This independent body is tasked with providing external advice to uphold the principles of accountability, transparency, and integrity within the organisation.
The Advisory Committee will offer strategic guidance on a wide range of areas within the organisation’s accountability framework, including risk management. This initiative reflects the Miss World Botswana Organization’s ongoing commitment to aligning with best practices and enhancing excellence in project implementation, leadership, and the advancement of young women’s rights.
The following distinguished individuals, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields, will serve as members of the Advisory Committee:
- Tebogo Lebotse Sebego: A self-described “warrior of light,” is dedicated to promoting positivity and championing initiatives that empower women and create equal opportunities.
- Mercy Rebaone Thebe: An accomplished Corporate Communications Architect, Brand Strategist and renowned advocate for Fashion & Creative Sector
- Joyce Manase-Ntau: A dynamic leader with over 20 years in Corporate Affairs and Strategic Leadership. As the former Director of Operations at HOPE Worldwide Botswana and a Station Manager at GABZ FM, she combines her expertise with her experience as Miss Botswana 1995 to drive impactful change and innovation.
- Dorcus Gosibotsile: The current Treasurer of the Botswana Council of Women (BCW), with a focus on women’s development.
