Miss Botswana Ruth Thomas recently carried out her Beauty With A Purpose project at Princess Marina Hospital, bringing a message of love, dignity and compassion to newborns and their mothers through her foundation, Touched by Grace.

Upon her arrival, Miss Botswana was formally welcomed by hospital management before engaging with medical staff, new mothers and their babies. The visit was characterised by warm, heartfelt interactions and meaningful donations aimed at supporting mothers during the early and delicate stages of welcoming new life.

Through Touched by Grace, Ruth Thomas continues to translate purpose into action, ensuring that her advocacy reaches spaces where care, reassurance and encouragement are most needed.

Her Beauty With A Purpose project is guided by her personal motto, “wonderfully and fearfully made,” a message she shared with mothers as a reminder of their inherent worth, strength and beauty and of the value of every child from the very beginning of life.

This initiative reflects the core values of the Miss World platform, where beauty is defined not only by appearance, but by service, empathy and a genuine commitment to uplifting others.

Miss Botswana’s visit to Princess Marina hospital stands as a meaningful expression of purpose-driven leadership and compassion in action.
