Botswana continues to shine in the world of pageantry, this week we celebrate two remarkable queens whose journeys reflect pride, resilience and grace.

Miss Teen Botswana 2025, Margaret Nasha, recently represented the nation at the Miss Teen International stage in India, though she did not make it into the Top 16 her performance was a triumph. She carried Botswana’s name with dignity and elegance, leaving an impression of strength and beauty.

During the finale, Margaret showcased her talent across the Preliminary Evening Gown Parade, swimsuit round and National Costume Presentation. Her national costume, themed “Flowing with the rhythm of nature,” embodied the heartbeat of the Okavango Delta, Botswana’s jewel of life and wonder. The design celebrated the lush waters that nurture our people, wildlife and heritage, every detail reflected the harmony of land, water and sky, just as the Delta does with each passing season. In her stride, Margaret carried the spirit of resilience, beauty and abundance that defines her nation. She was, in every way, the heartbeat of Botswana.

Beyond the stage, Margaret embraced the values of sisterhood by building lasting friendships with fellow contestants from across the globe, she also had the opportunity to share Botswana’s pride and heritage during cultural exchanges and together with other contestants, visited India’s iconic Taj Mahal.

As she returns home today, we welcome her with love and pride, a message from the Miss Teen Botswana reads: “ Dear Margaret,
You may not have made it into the Top 16, but in our eyes, you have already won. From the moment you stepped onto that stage, you carried the Botswana flag with so much grace, strength, and courage, and that is something we will always cherish. We are incredibly proud of the young woman you are and the way you have represented your country with dignity and heart.

Your crown impact shines far beyond placements. It lives in the people you inspire and the lives you continue to touch. This is only the beginning of your journey. The world has seen your light, and we know it will only grow brighter. Botswana stands proud of you, always. With love and pride, Your Miss Teen Botswana Family.”

Congratulations once again, Margaret, for representing the nation with grace and resilience. You have made Botswana proud!
