Achievements - Anicia T. Gaothusi
I am Anicia Gaothusi, and I feel privileged to have had opportunities that have shaped me both personally and professionally. In 2019, I was honored to be crowned Miss Teen Botswana, which gave me the incredible chance to represent my country on an international stage in India at Miss Teen International. I was awarded the titles of Second Princess, received the prestigious Multimedia Award, and proudly earned the title of Miss Teen Africa.
Beyond pageantry, I founded Lights Foundation, a project close to my heart, with the mission of spreading light and helping others ignite their potential. Through this initiative, I strive to support people in pursuing their dreams and overcoming challenging living conditions.
I’m also continuing my academic journey in Procurement and Supply at Gaborone University College of Law and Professional Studies (GUC) through the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Each step of this journey has been a learning experience, and I remain deeply grateful for every opportunity to grow and contribute.
A defining moment for me was being one of only five women in the world to wear the Akh-Ba-Ka neckpiece from Messika’s Diamond Collection during the LUCARA Botswana Diamond Show in April 2024, an honor I will cherish forever.
